Discord is a world-leading voice chat platform that seems to lack any significant drawbacks. At worst, there are only a few minor problems.
One of the small downsides is that you need to be aware of a person’s username and their user ID number to add them as a buddy. However, this is done with protection in mind.
This means that if you desire any of your friends to add you to Discord, you will first need to find your user identification.
The fastest way to find your user ID is by opening Discord and then clicking on your username next to your avatar. This will instantly copy your username together with your user ID.
Alternatively, you can go into User Configuration and then My Account. On this screen, you will be able to see your user ID. Simple!
