Perhaps Discord’s single best feature is its ability to stream any game to dozens of viewers. The fact that this streaming has minimal impact on your system’s performance makes this feature even more impressive.
However, when trying to start a stream, you might have noticed that some games are not registered automatically by Discord. Even if you have Activity Status enabled, which is another useful feature, Discord won’t be able to show what you are currently playing.
This happens because Discord does not have official support for all video games. Thankfully, there is an option to manually add games to your Discord library. This article explains exactly how you can do that.

Adding Games To Discord Library
Adding a video game to your Discord library is quick and straightforward. All you need to do is follow these steps:
- Start the video game you want to add to your library.
- Open Discord and go into User Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and open the Activity Status tab.
- Look for the button that says Add it!.
- If your game is running, you should be able to see that window and select it. After doing this, click Add Game.
Once you have done this, each time you launch the game, Discord will automatically detect it and you will be able to stream it immediately.
From this menu, you can also enable “Display current activity as a status message” to show your friends/server members which game you are currently playing.
That’s it! As you can see, adding games to your Discord library is quick and easy.
