Is Stardew Valley Cross-Platform?

Can you play Stardew Valley with your friends no matter what platform they're on? Is Steam Valley really cross-platform? Here's a guide.

Cross-platform is slowly implemented in most multiplayer games nowadays and it is standard for any new triple-A video game. Apex Legends, Call of Duty Warzone, Among Us, Fortnite, and many others offer crossplay.

However, most indie games do not have implemented cross-platform mostly because it’s too expensive or complicated for smaller studios to add such a feature. Stardew Valley is one of those indie games even though it was a huge success.

In fact, the game was made by just one person, an indie game developer, Eric Barone. But, is Eric Barone capable enough to deliver cross-platform to Stardew Valley? Is there such a feature now and will we see it in the future?

In this guide, we will address any inquiries you have surrounding this subject.

Let’s dive right in!
